China tightens restrictions on online advocacy, prison visits for imprisoned Tibetan businessman

DHARAMSHALA, Aug. 21: Chinese authorities are continuing to suppress online advocacy and restrict prison visits concerning Tibetan businessman and philanthropist Dorjee Tashi, who has been imprisoned since 2008 and is serving a life sentence in Lhasa’s Drapchi Prison, according to a report by the Washington-based advocacy group International Campaign for Tibet (ICT).
