CTA launches ‘Tibetan National Identity Preservation Week’

Shimla: The Central Tibetan Administration (CTA) on Wednesday launched “Tibetan National Identity Preservation Week”, with Sikyong Penpa Tsering calling for a sustained global campaign to protect Tibetan language, culture and national identity.Announcing the launch in Dharamshala, Tsering said the week would be held every year from the fourth Wednesday of September to the following Wednesday, beginning this year on Sept 23.
