In an exclusive interview with Tibet Radio, Department of Information and International Relations (DIIR) Secretary Karma Rinchen said all staff were safe following the October 14 incident at the Offices of Tibet in Centurion, South Africa. He said the Central Tibetan Administration (CTA) was deeply concerned over the attack on the Offices of Tibet in South Africa and that the office had sustained extensive damage. He added that a similar incident involving the same method of attack had occurred on July 6 of the same year. Karma Rinchen said the CTA had already contacted the South African government and relevant authorities regarding an investigation into the incident. He expressed hope that further details would emerge in the coming days.
