ITCO Participates in ABRS Global Peace Symposium in Memory of Dr. Nirmala Deshpande in New Delhi

New Delhi: The inaugural session of the Global Peace Symposium, organised by Akhil Bharat Rachanatmak Samaj (ABRS) under the leadership of Bibhuti Kumar Mishra, Rajendra Deshpande, and Ramesh Jain, was held on 1 May 2026 at M.P. Club, South Avenue, New Delhi. The event marked the 18th death anniversary of Dr. Nirmala Deshpande and coincided with the occasion of Buddha Purnima.

Dr. Nirmala Deshpande (1929–2008), founder of Akhil Bharat Rachanatmak Samaj (ABRS), was a distinguished Gandhian and peace activist closely associated with the Bhoodan Movement, during which she walked nearly 40,000 km with Vinoba Bhave.
