The 2nd session of the 18th Tibetan Parliament began today. སྐབས་ ༡༨ པའི་བོད་མི་མང་སྤྱི་འཐུས་ལྷན་ཚོགས་ཀྱི་གྲོས་ཚོགས་ཚོགས་དུས་གཉིས་པ་འགོ་འཛུགས། གྲོས་ཚོགས་ཚོགས་དུས་གཉིས་པ་འགོ་འཛུགས་དང་བསྟུན། བོད་མི་མང་སྤྱི་འཐུས་ཁག་གཅིག་ལ་བཀའ་འདྲི་ཞུས་པར། ཁོང་རྣམ་པས་དུས་རྒྱུན་ལྟར་ལས་བསྡོམས་དང་འདྲི་རྩད་ཀྱི་བྱ་རིམ་ཙམ་མིན་པར་ད་རེས་གྲོས་ཚོགས་ཐོག །རྒྱ་ནག་གི་མི་རིགས་མཐུན་སྒྲིལ་ཡར་ཐོན་སྐུལ་འདེད་ཀྱི་ཁྲིམས་ཡིག་ཟེར་བ་དེའི་ཐོག་གླེང་སློང་དང་། བོད་ཀྱི་ངོ་བོ་དང་སྐད་ཡིག་སྲུང་སྐྱོབ་བྱ་ཐབས། དེ་བཞིན་བློ་དགའ་རང་བཙན་ལགས་ཀྱི་རང་ལུས་མེར་བསྲེགས་བཏང་བའི་གནད་དོན་ལས་བོད་མིའི་འཐབ་རྩོད་རྒྱ་སྐྱེད་ཇི་ལྟར་བྱེད་ཕྱོགས་བཅས་ཀྱི་ཐོག་ལ་གླེང་སློང་བྱ་རྒྱུ་ཡིན་པ་གསུངས་སོང་། Speaking to the press, several MPs said that beyond the usual ministerial reports and questions, they are particularly looking forward to discussing China’s new Ethnic Unity Law, ways to protect Tibetan language and identity, and how to strengthen the Tibetan struggle in the wake of the recent self-immolation of Lobga Rangzen.
