Singapore will also deliver humanitarian assistance comprising both civilian and Singapore Armed Forces supplies to Nepal, said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

On the fifth day of rescue efforts, 2,502 people in Nepal remain missing while 546 people in China's Tibet remain unaccounted for.

State broadcaster CCTV reported that of the 546 people missing, 261 were foreign nationals, including 104 from Nepal, 49 from India, 33 from Latvia, and 18 from the United States.

At least 489 people in Nepal and five in China's Tibet were killed in catastrophic floods triggered by a glacier collapse, while nearly 1,000 others remain missing.

More than 1,000 people are still missing and almost 400 confirmed dead.
